The first version translated an invisible authorization policy into a four-step workflow: business type, initiator, approver and confirmation. It established the core mental model, while exposing the density of rule creation.

The platform language shifted from general system management toward core policy governance. Modification support and explicit member selection reflected a product expanding beyond a single authorization scenario.

Authorization became Approval, while contextual explanations and API-access warnings moved into the workspace. The interface began teaching users what each configuration would mean operationally.

Version four introduced an optional Quick Guide. Instead of asking users to understand the entire rule system at once, it broke the decision into focused, low-risk choices.

Clarify responsibility before configuring individual actions.

Translate system language into two clear operational choices.

End with an explicit summary instead of an ambiguous configuration.

The fifth iteration refined hierarchy, instructional microcopy and multi-stage approval cues—preserving flexibility while making each consequence easier to understand.
